Mother's Day Out offers affordable rates for drop-in child care. Spots are first-come, first-serve, so be sure to show up early. We accept special needs children on an individual basis. One time, non-refundable, yearly registration fee : $20 First child: $7.00/hour Sibling: $6.00/hour There is a two hour minimum for 2-6 year olds and a one hour minimum for 1 year olds. Charges are by the hour, more than 10 minutes into an hour, you will be charged for the entire hour. A late fee of $10.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes or portion thereof after closing time that you are late picking up your child. This also applies to anyone designated to pick up your child.Your child and our staff appreciate you being on time for pick up. Punch cards are available, in either 10 hour ($70) or 20 hour ($140) amounts. Sibling punch cards are also available. Punch cards may be used at any time, and expire at the end of our school year. No refunds are issued for unused hours. Payment for child care is due in full upon services rendered. We accept cash or checks.

Required Forms and Illness Policy A registration card needs to be filled out and immunization records need to be provided the 1st time your child comes to MOO. A medical statement signed by your child's doctor is required within 30 days. Our illness policy is as follows: no green or yellow noses, diarrhea, fever, vomiting, or cough. Children need to be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning to MOO. If your child becomes ill or injured while in our care, we will make every effort to reach you or your contact person. PLEASE always leave us a telephone number where you can be reached, NOT just a message machine. MDO cannot transport children in an emergency. In accordance with state regulations, we ask parents to please report to us exposure or diagnosis of their child to communicable or contagious illnesses contracted outside our center. Our policy is to not administer medications, except for emergency use of epi pens or inhalers, which would require a physician's note. Reservations Reservations are available when all health forms have been turned in. Reservations are made in person, prepaid, and non-refundable. No telephone reservations or transfers are accepted. Reservations can be made 1 week in advance. Only 1 reservation may be made per day. Half the spaces in each classroom may be reserved. No credits or refunds will be given for cancelled or unused reservations; or for early pick-ups or late drop-offs. Reservations will be held for 15 minutes past the reserved sign-in time, unless you notify us that you will be late. You can leave a message at the church, at 970-482-2436, or with the director, Gail Farnum, at 970-223-3370 prior to 8:00 am on Tues, Thurs or Fri. If we are not notified within 15 min, your reserved space may be filled by a child waiting to attend that day. A 30 day credit will be issued for cancelled or unused reservations, if we are notified in advance (within 15 minutes of the reservation time, at the latest). If we are not notified, the credit may be forfeited. There are no refunds or credits for early pick-ups or late drop-offs. PLEASE NOTE-- You MUST check your child in AND out at the sign-in desk each day, EVEN IF YOU HAVE A RESERVATION FOR THAT DAY. For security reasons, it is vital that you check out at the front desk BEFORE going to the classroom to pick up your child. Picking Up Your Child We will release your child only to you or the person you designate under "Special Instructions" on the sign-in sheet. Please let us know if your plans change during the morning, because we cannot release your child except with your permission. All visitors will be asked to sign in at the desk and will be escorted to the room they wish to visit. Picture ID will be requested of unauthorized persons.
